Dr. D'Aloisio received his B.Sc. degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1984. While an undergraduate, he was a member of the Western Mustangs varsity football team- carrying on from his previous running back career for the Sudbury Spartans.

Dr. D'Aloisio received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1988 from the University of Western Ontario and also earned the Orthodontic Award. He then returned to the University of Detroit, where he received his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics in 1990. His master's thesis was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics in 1992. Other publications include a functional appliance study published in Canadian Dental Journal in 1989.

On a local level, he was the president of the Sudbury Dental Society and provincially, a member of Student's Committee of the Ontario Dental Association. He is active in many professional organizations including the American and Canadian Orthodontic Associations.

Dr. D'Aloisio makes time to continue his education and encourages the staff to do the same. He takes interest in the community by sponsoring local teams/clubs, and always finds time to enjoy the company of his son.
